A Family-Run Law Firm Advocating For Clients And The Community

It is one of life’s greatest joys to do work that you love, with people you love, and for the benefit of others. For more than 30 years, I have been fortunate to do just that. I am attorney George R. Garrison, an East Tennessee native who has spent his career serving the needs of the injured and disabled in Sevier County and surrounding areas.

Together with my wife Cindy, who is also the office manager, I strive to give back to the community that has supported my firm and my family. Some specific support efforts are highlighted on this page.

Donating To Organizations And Causes That Strengthen East Tennessee

I am honored to donate time and financial resources to the following causes on behalf of my firm:

Gatlinburg’s Festival of Trees: An annual event for the past 50 years, the Festival of Trees allows kids and families to celebrate the start of the Christmas season while also raising money for youth education and enrichment programs, including the organization below.

Boys and Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains: The Sevier County chapter of this nonprofit organization provides social, educational and character-building opportunities for young people in the area outside of the standard school day.

Shop with a Cop: This annual event is a collaboration between the Sevierville Police Department and local school administrators. Each year, selected students are invited to go Christmas shopping with local police officers. Donated funds allow the students, who might otherwise receive few or no presents, to shop for the gifts they love. They also get to have meals and other positive experiences with local law enforcement officers.

I grew up on a farm, which was certainly not a privileged environment. Yet I understand that I benefitted from the support and generosity of friends, neighbors and the community. I am thankful that my family and I can continue that legacy of generosity.
